Loop
Set a target distance and generate a return-to-start route you can regenerate or tweak before you head out. This is the namesake: pick a distance, get a loop, go.
MapMyLoop
Plan loops, A-to-B paths, build your own route, or free-form walks, runs, and rides, and then track them on your iPhone.
Launching soon for the iPhone.
Four ways to go about it
Start from where you are, pick a mode, and MapMyLoop keeps the map, timing, and history ready for the next time out.

Set a target distance and generate a return-to-start route you can regenerate or tweak before you head out. This is the namesake: pick a distance, get a loop, go.
Pick a destination and follow a guided path from your current location — useful for one-way runs and rides across town.
Drop waypoints on the map and shape the path yourself — full control when you already know where you want to go.
Skip the plan and just record. Keep your trail, time, and distance as you explore without a preset route.
Privacy first
MapMyLoop is for people who want walks, runs, and rides without a social feed, third-party sharing, or a cloud archive of where they've been.
Recording, track storage, and route calculations happen on your iPhone. GPS and activity history stay local — there is no MapMyLoop cloud account and no long-term central archive of your movement.
Nothing is sent to any server unless you explicitly export or share. Recording does not quietly sync, and we don’t run server-side analysis on your location history.
There are no automated summaries, heatmaps, or training plans generated from uploads. Your activity is yours to review on the device — not mined for “insights” in the cloud.
Share a route as a file or peer-to-peer when you choose to. There is no social feed, no follower graph, and no sync-by-default.
Coming soon
MapMyLoop is almost ready for iPhone. Leave your email and we'll tell you when it's on the App Store — nothing else.
No feed. No newsletter. Just a launch note.
